| What's
it about? |
| |
Initially the course focuses on the construction of the shaving horse, a traditional foot operated device for holding timber allowing it to be worked on using a draw knife. This practical woodsmans tool allows us to continue the course to produce unique pieces of furniture or garden features. We will supply the wood and the knowledge of how to fit it together, you supply the imagination and the ideas. By the end of the course you should have a firm idea of working in greenwood, a shave horse and a piece of rustic furniture to take home. |
